Starting to look for a nice farmer for marriage and becoming housewive..

.. since Tech industry is being taken over, bit by bit, by Google. This morning, these news have shaken me and my co-workers, and probably the whole GPS Navigation industry. That Google is offering now its own killer application even for FREE to the consumers, is just destroying another whole sector of the tech market. It makes me feel like being on a sinking ship, trying to find a way of getting out of it in a good way. The stock market has already reacted, immediately.

And it has just been very interesting to share the views with my co-workers to this issue. A lot of old stories came up, which I have already suspected but never heard from anyone of them, directly. Even the probability, that our company will be bought up by some other company, is not that high, anymore.
So well, it could really even be before Christmas, that I will return to Hamburg. At least no need to make any further Christmas plans, and focus on my CV and interview preparations, instead. - Or on taking closer looks to TV Shows like "Bauer sucht Frau"...

Jippieh! Home sweet home!

I moved! Ha! Took me a while, but finally, I can call the room I am living in, now, "my room" - because it has my new bed, now, since 1hour or so.
And it seems so huge, that you are almost unable to see the other side of it..just too far away.. See here:

uff...this morning, I was convinced, it was over..

I still do not know, why I have continued to work for this company, with all those issues in the back of my mind. From the 1st day on here in the US, it is so obvious, that the financial constitution of our company is at stake. So, as you may remember, I searched for apartments, only to withdraw myself out of the offer (loosing the whole deposit), since I did not want to sign anything, which is binding me more than 1 months.

Especially, after our meeting at the company, last week, I have got first very nervous and then so anxious, that I avoided any bigger expenses at all - who knows, if this month's salary would had been the last?

On Tuesday was a major meeting to clarify our financial situation. We did not know, how this went, just until some minutes ago.

At least, we are promised to get our salaries, until the future of this company is clarified. This will definitely not be until next month, so we will get our next salary. And even then, it can still take some time, until the solution is found. So, I found, I just won some time to prepare myself.

Therefore, I am relieved, that it is not so soon. But still worried, that it will come too soon, anyway.

that I haven't updated my blog during the last week. There are some things, I will update you about, giving you some pictures, as well, as soon as I have calmed down a bit.

But here as short and most important news:
I will get my car on Thursday. And I will move into a flat sharing into a very interesting house on Oct, 15th.
